Ubucks Cookie and App Storage Policy

This policy describes cookies and similar local storage used by Ubucks websites and the native iOS and Android App. A cookie is a small value stored by a browser. The native App uses operating-system protected storage rather than website session cookies.

The cookies listed above are used for authentication, request integrity and restricted staff access. They are not used for advertising. Because the current Ubucks release does not set non-essential analytics or advertising cookies, it does not display a consent banner for optional cookies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Public pages remain readable, but Google sign-in, persistent website sign-in and account-based cashback attribution will not work correctly without the relevant essential cookie.

The native App stores the refresh credential and random installation identifier in Keychain or Keystore-backed protected storage. Ordinary access credentials remain in memory. Limited shopping-recovery identifiers, an idempotency key and a timestamp may be stored temporarily so an interrupted handoff can be resolved safely.

The App does not copy website cookies into the App and does not store merchant affiliate destinations in protected recovery storage. Signing out removes the App's stored account credentials and recovery records from that device.

Google, Apple, a selected store or an affiliate network may use cookies or similar technology on its own website or service under its own notice. Those third-party technologies are not controlled by this Ubucks policy. Opening a system browser does not give Ubucks access to unrelated browser cookies.

If Ubucks introduces a non-essential analytics, advertising or marketing technology, we will update this policy and provide any consent or opt-out control required before enabling it. Privacy questions may be sent to contact@ubucks.com.
